The term “safety meeting” is a coded reference to a gathering in the cannabis community. You and a friend or co-worker would have a “safety meeting,” which was basically going out back to smoke. Originating as a subtle, almost ironic term, it has evolved into a cultural touchstone, fostering community and shared experiences within cannabis culture in a playful way. For us, it keeps us rooted in the culture.
This event is not about industry safety standards.
As part of your 10-foot by 10-foot booth, we include a table, four chairs, and a privacy curtain. Of course, if you need more chairs, we can provide them.
You should bring what you need to showcase your brand. A table cover, displays, and branded banners are all recommended and very common. We encourage everyone to have fun and bring what you feel will best represent your brand and get your message across.
No, nothing is for sale. If you come to an agreement, orders can be placed at the event, and invoices should be sent out but no money is exchanged..
Only registered guests are allowed. There is no public admission. If you’d like to tour the space, ask us and we may be able to arrange that for you.
You will have a total of 22 meetings over the two day event. There are 12 meetings on the first day and 10 meetings on the second day.
We’ll ask for your priorities on who you’d like to meet with before the event but cannot guarantee you will get all of your choices. We do our best to schedule you with as many of your top priorities as we can while still accommodating all vendors in attendance.
Yes, breakfast and lunch are provided on both days.
Included with your events pass are: three attendee passes, two days of meetings, scheduled meetings with retailers or vendors, after party with food and drinks, breakfast and lunch on both days, and our raffle.
On the first day of the event, meetings start at 10am and end at 5pm. On the second day, meetings start at 10am and end at 4pm.
Doors open at 8am for you to start putting together your booth and breakfast starts at 9am.
The after party on day one goes from 6pm until 9pm.
Each meeting is 20 minutes long.
You will get a 10 minute break between meetings.
Costs for the event can vary depending on if you’re a sponsor, vendor, or non-profit group attending. Please reach out to info@cpnpromotions.com for more information regarding cost.
If you cannot attend the event any longer, no worries, our events are popular and spots will likely fill. We do ask that you provide us with a 30 day notice if possible. As soon as we get your spot filled, you will be reimbursed for your booth.

We do offer the opportunity to drop off and set up the day before the event within a two to three hour window. On the day of the event, the doors open two hours before at 8am.
We keep our doors open two hours after the second day of the event.
